DAY 01: DELHI-ARRIVAL-SIGHTSEEING.
On this desert Wildlife tour our first destination would be the capital city of India. On arrival at Delhi airport, transfer to hotel. Spend your day taking a tour of Old and New Delhi where you can visit the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Government buildings and Humayun"s Tomb and many other places.
DAY 02: DELHI-NEEMRANA.
After breakfast, travel by road to Neemrana covering a distance of 120 kms.
Check in at Neemrana Fort Palace. The Neemrana fort palace and its architectural beauty is India"s oldest legacy. Built in 1494 A.D. this oldest architectural gem of India is now being run as a heritage resort. Situated on a hill side 122 kms from Delhi on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. It is Rajasthan"s closest palace from Delhi. The rooms are tastefully furnished with an eclectic blend of traditional Indian and colonial furniture. Overnight in Neemrana.
DAY 03: NEEMRANA MANDAWAH.
After breakfast, check out and drive by road to Mandawa covering a distance of 220 kms. Check in to Castle Mandawa. Castle Mandawa is an ideal base to discover the legacy of 18th Century frescoes that adorn the Havelies of this storybook town. With canopied balconies and turreted battlements, it offers modern comforts with an old world charm. The highlight of your stay is a royal repast where guests dine under the stars entertained by a Rajasthani fire dancer. Overnight in Mandawah.
DAY 04: MANDAWAH BIKANER.
After breakfast, travel by road to Bikaner covering a distance of 190 kms. Check in at hotel.
This desert town in the north of Rajasthan is a largely unspoilt and less visited place on the tourist circuit. The tour of Bikaner starts with a visit to Junagarh Fort with its superb stone carving. The fort has the usual collection of Rajput miniatures and an extensive collection of weapons including two World War biplanes. The other notable place that you will visit is the government camel breeding farm unique in Asia. Overnight in Bikaner.
DAY 05: BIKANER JAISALMER.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaisalmer for a distance of 330 kms. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, Check in at hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
DAY 06: JAISALMER SIGHTSEEING.
After breakfast, leave for half day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer city. It is also called the Golden City because of the colour imparted to its stone ramparts by the setting sun. Your tour of Jaisalmer starts with a visit to the Jaisalmer Fort built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal and is situated on the 80m high Trikuta Hill. The fort has a maze of winding alleys, all of which are paved in stone. Within the fort walls you will also see a group of beautifully carved Jain temples. Proceed on to see two of Jaisalmers most famous Havelis Salim Singh ki Haveli, once the residence of the Prime Minister of the former princely state of Jaisalmer. Also visit Patwon ki Haveli, another of Jaisalmer"s elaborate residences. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
DAY 07: JAISALMER KHIMSAR.
After breakfast, check out from hotel and travel by road to Khimsar covering a distance of 295 kms. Check in at Hotel/Khimsar Fort. This 16th century Fort perched on the edge of the desert is an oasis of peace with its pool and sprawling lawns. Located in the heart of rural India away from pollution and noise, you can enjoy the sand dunes, camel safari and see the rare Black Buck antelope during your stay here. Overnight at Hotel/Khimsar fort.
DAY 08: KHIMSER ROHETGARH.
After breakfast, check out and drive by road to Rohet covering a distance of 140 Km’s, en route visiting Jodhpur and doing sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. Check in at Rohetgarh -A fortified desert home of the descendants of the Rathores, the rooms are tastefully done up with carved furniture, original paintings and mementoes. Overnight at Rohetgarh.
DAY 09: ROHETGARH CAMEL SAFARI.
After breakfast, half day camel safari to near by Bishnoi villages. Evening at leisure to relax. One can enjoy folk music & dance performances by traditional artists or go for a walk through the village. Overnight in Rohetgarh.
DAY 10: ROHETGARH DEOGARH.
After breakfast, travel by road to Deogarh covering a distance of 250 kms. Check in at Hotel. Visit Deogarh Mahal which was built in the 17th Century situated in the rugged countryside of the Aravalis, dotted by a number of lakes it is visited by a large number of migratory birds. Run and restored by the family, the castle has a good collection of miniature paintings. One can sample traditional Mewari cuisine here. Overnight at Hotel in Deogarh.
DAY 11: DEOGARH UDAIPUR.
Check out from the hotel after your breakfast and then drive to Udaipur. It is a distance of approximately 150 Km’s. Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in the hotel. Rest of the time is for leisure. Overnight in Udaipur.
DAY 12: UDAIPUR SIGHTSEEING.
Possibly the most romantic city in all of Rajasthan, Udaipur is also called the Venice of the East because of the profusion of lakes that dot the city.Your tour of the city starts with a visit to the massive City palace complex, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The main part of the palace is a museum with its collection of mosaics, miniatures etc. depicting the Rajput way of life, Proceed on to the Pratap Samak, with is statue of the Rajput hero Maharana Pratap. The statue is surrounded by some lovely landscaped gardens including a Japanese rock garden. Drive on to the Bharatiya Lok Kala museum with its extensive collection of Rajasthani folk arts and crafts. The focal point of the museum is its collection of puppets. The last stop of your tour is the Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of Honour with its marble fountains. Evening boat cruise on Lake Pichola (subject to water level). Overnight at Hotel in Udaipur.
DAY 13: UDAIPUR-DELHI-DEPARTURE.
After breakfast in the hotel, check out and drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
